Message from CEO

We are medium-sized enterprise, located in regional area of Japan. We have 600 employees including whole OTA OIL groups, which consists of ten companies and the average age of group CEO is 54 years old. We operate not only in the local economy as a market, but also in Japan and globally. We may be one of the ‘glocal’ (coined word of global and local) companies, that are based in the rural areas but does business globally.

While marketing activities are centred in Tokyo, most of the other tasks can be done through using internet without being located in urban areas. We aim to develop our business globally while retaining the advantages of being located in the rural area.

Moreover, our purpose of the business and my personal life motto are ‘to enrich physical and minds of our fellows (employees)’ and ‘bring happiness and good health to the world’.

‘To eat’ is ‘to live’. Manufacturing food is the source of human life. I believe that Japan and world’s societal problems and challenges can be solved through food. We believe that ‘using non-GMO ingredients’, ‘compression method’, ‘food accessibility’, ‘slow food’, ‘handmade’, ‘supporting Japanese agriculture’ and ‘environmental activities’ are important for our business profit, rather than the mass production and mass consumption business model.

This is our goal of ‘small yet powerful company’.
